OVERVIEW AND MUSIC LINE-UP
Evenings on the Plaza is a free, family-friendly event series held every Friday, February through October and every Saturday, May through September. Performances on the Janet Leigh (cinema) Plaza and DeCarli Square (Final Fridays, May - September) include professional and community theatre, classical and cultural dance, spoken word, community service events and a variety of live music, featuring jazz, country, rock, pop, soul and traditional mariachi. In addition, a lively group of street performers, like Bernard Gomez Bang, Downtown’s resident mime, entertain the crowd, and local sports mascots make regular appearances. Bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy Evenings on the Plaza in Downtown Stockton!
